Career Hub guide
Get your resume out of LinkedIn
LinkedIn already holds your full work history. Export it as a PDF in under a minute, then drop the file into the Career Hub and we'll build your timeline for you.
-
Log in to LinkedIn
Go to linkedin.com in your browser and sign in. Use a desktop or laptop if you can — the PDF export option isn't available in the mobile app.
-
Open your own profile
Click Me (your profile photo, top right of the LinkedIn navigation bar), then choose View Profile.
-
Find the Resources button
On your profile, look just below your name and headline for the row of buttons (Open to, Add profile section…). Click the one labeled Resources — on some accounts it appears as More instead.
-
Choose Save to PDF
In the menu that opens, click Save to PDF. LinkedIn generates a PDF of your profile — positions, dates, education, and summaries — and downloads it to your computer (usually to your Downloads folder, named something like
Profile.pdf). -
Drop it into your Career Hub
Head back to your Work History and drag the PDF onto the Import from LinkedIn card — or click Choose file and pick it. We'll read the PDF and lay out your career timeline; you can edit or reorder every entry afterwards.
